The location was both good and bad; Close to LGA airport and subway with lots of street food stalls, but not ideal for families. The soundproofing in the room was excellent, keeping city noises at bay when the AC was off. the staff spoke both English and Spanish at the reception, adding a personal touch to the service. Housekeeping was attentive, replacing towels, sheets, and pillows daily without disturbing personal items. This attention to detail and respect for privacy made for a comfortable stay. Overall, Elmhurst Hotel in Queens is a satisfactory option for solo travelers or couples looking to explore the city rather than spend time in the hotel. Consider it for its convenient location and cultural surroundings, but be mindful of its limitations for family stays.
